 being a macosx 10.5.8 user i tried to work with \"Audio To MIDI VST (MAC) 1.10\" and audacity sticking closely to the \"help\" file\'s instruction. there ought to be something i misunderstood since changing the slider\'s settings (max at start - as recommended - then varying ... etc) & testing did not have any impact on my files.*\"widi-music recognition system\" would definitely be my weapon of choice ... if my small, private project (converting just a couple of soundfiles to midi) would allow for a (muchmuch ... extreme...!) high budget**.**but: creating a software for conversion from mere soundwaves into \"music notationesque\" midi ...
 Feedback Hi there, I have home studio where I run Macs, (no Microsoft rubbish allowed), unfortunately I use Cubase LE 4 , Garage Band , and Tracktion with a presonis I/O. The plugin VST failed to function with all of these apps. (OSX 10.5.5)Sorry about that.
No Pro Tools I cannot make it work in Pro Tools even with a VST to RTAS wrapping program so it is useless to a Imac owner with Pro Tools

 Tried The Demo I used the demo for a short while. I didn't really find it useful. It seemed to do OK with rhythm, though not 100%, but it struggled finding the pitch of notes. The 15 sec drop in, drop out of the demo was frustrating and annoying. Surely you can find a better way to protect you software. The documentation was lacking and I had to noodle with the 3 buttons at the bottom of the plugin window to get the midi to record.
VERY poorly documented. I got this to use with Sonar 6. I can see and use the plug in on an audio track.I'm trying to use it so that I can convert guitar tracks (chords) to MIDI so that I can make piano parts. I can't figure out how to use this interface to capture the MIDI that I want. I can't even figure out whether the evaluation copy has limits, or I'm just not using it correctly, and I can't even figure out how to pay for and get a full working copy.
